The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan begins to train personnel in project management for the correct distribution of forces and building competencies.

The management of the Office's activities is entrusted to the newly created Coordination Committee for Strategic Development with the participation of leading international experts and consultants.

The Office will be engaged in the formation and regular updating of a portfolio of priority projects aimed at the development of the agricultural and food sectors for consideration and approval by the Committee.

It is planned to finance the approved projects at the expense of donor funds from international financial institutions, credit lines of commercial banks, the state budget and other funds.

The Office will continuously monitor the progress of projects with the provision of quarterly information to the Committee
