According to the newspaper, Glisic became ill in the studio, which is why the program was urgently interrupted. The television footage shows that during the conversation with the presenters, the minister began to speak indistinctly, and he also had a noticeable facial asymmetry. Glisic was urgently taken to the Clinical Center of Serbia. President Aleksandar Vucic, according to the newspaper, immediately went to the hospital after receiving information about the incident.
Minister of Health Zlatibor Lonchar issued a statement from the institution.
"He [Glisic] became ill during a television broadcast, he was taken to the hospital unconscious. Diagnosis is underway and therapy has begun. Everything that medicine can do will be done. We are all concerned, President [Vucic] has been here from the very first minute. This situation has shocked all of us, but we hope for a successful outcome of the therapy and the measures taken. All that is known so far is that his condition is serious. It is important that he was delivered in a timely manner after the stroke, as the first few hours are crucial," Lonchar stressed.
