During the meeting, it was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and the United States are developing on the principles of equality, trust and mutual respect and have moved to the level of strategic partnership.
The sides discussed the state and important aspects of cooperation between the Ministries of Defense of the two countries, as well as prospects for bilateral cooperation aimed at ensuring security in the Central Asian region, partnership in the military and military-technical spheres.
During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the sights of the ancient city of Samarkand, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
