Young scientists of Uzbekistan study foreign experience in agricultural mechanization

    With the financial support of the International Center for Strategic Research and Development in the Agricultural and Food Sector, five young scientists of the Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization went to Moscow, where they met with professors of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education (FGBOUVO).

    During the scientific seminar on the topic "Prospects for improving and developing machines and technologies for growing and harvesting root crops", the participants exchanged scientific ideas and discussed prospects for further development of cooperation. The participants of the seminar expressed interest in organizing and conducting joint research projects.

    Visits and meetings of young scientists of Uzbekistan were organized according to the meeting held by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev on June 13, 2022 on improving efficiency in the field of standardization and certification, where the importance of additional training of 3 thousand specialists of enterprises and organizations in this field was noted. In this regard, effective cooperation has been established between the International Center for Strategic Research and Development in the Food and Agriculture Sector and the Research Institute of Agricultural Mechanization.

    Within the framework of this ongoing cooperation, four scientists and doctoral students of the Institute of Agricultural Mechanization were sent to the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences for a short-term study; five scientists and doctoral students to the International Center for Agricultural Research of Japan; five scientists and doctoral students to the Agricultural Research Institute of the United States of America; four scientists to the Italian Agricultural Machinery Company NARDI; four in the universities of Munich and Hohenheim in Germany and five people in the Federal scientific Agroengineering center (VIM) in Russia.
