The document approved the technical and economic parameters of the project "Clean Energy for buildings in Uzbekistan" with the participation of the World Bank. They provide:

• purchase of construction goods (thermal insulation materials, pipes, doors and window frames, building materials) and equipment (renewable energy devices, heating systems, heating boilers, etc.);
• construction and installation work;
• energy audit services.

For reference: for the implementation of the project "Clean Energy for buildings in Uzbekistan", the Board of Directors of the World Bank approved the allocation of borrowed funds to the Republic of Uzbekistan in the amount of $ 143 million for a period of 30 years, including a five-year grace period. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to modernize over 800 institutions in the fields of preschool, school education and healthcare.

A roadmap for the implementation of the Project has also been approved, which provides for the formation of a list of objects envisaged for reconstruction (modernization) within the framework of the Project by May 2023.
