Commodity resources worth 2,162 billion soums were sold at the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange

    Over the past week, that is, for the period from April 15 to April 21, goods worth 3,441.2 billion soums were sold on all trading platforms of the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange JSC, which is 72.8% more than in the previous week. Of these, 62.8% of the transactions concluded were on exchange trading, and the remaining 37.2% were on e-commerce trading systems.

    The total volume of transactions concluded with the participation of small businesses and private entrepreneurship amounted to 638.6 billion soums. As a result of electronic bidding on public procurement, the total savings of budget and corporate customers amounted to 127.3 billion soums.

    During the period under review, 4,412 license plates worth 17.8 billion soums were sold through an online auction.

    Stock trading

    During the reporting period, commodity resources worth 2,162.0 billion soums were sold at open exchange auctions, including:

    Sugar

    12 741.0 tons of sugar were put up for stock trading, of which 11 883.0 tons, or 93.3%, were sold. An average of 316 buyers took part in the exchange trading every day.

    During the period under review, the daily average price of sugar of all categories decreased from 13,819.1 thousand soums to 12,920.1 thousand soums per ton.

    Liquefied gas

    During the past week, 12,153.0 tons of liquefied natural gas were put up for sale, of which 8,119.0 tons, or 66.8%, were sold. An average of 197 buyers took part in the exchange trading every day.

    During the period under review, the daily average price of liquefied natural gas decreased from 4,541.1 thousand soums to 4,340.9 thousand soums per ton.

    Cottonseed oil

    Last week, 3,613.0 tons of cottonseed oil were sold. An average of 12 buyers took part in the exchange trading every day.

    During the period under review, the daily average price for all varieties of cottonseed oil decreased from 9,561.7 thousand soums to 7,234.5 thousand soums per ton, according to the PR department of UzRTSB JSC.
