At the meeting of the SCO SNC in Bukhara, the preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of the organization's member states in Samarkand were discussed

    A regular meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was held in Bukhara under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan.

    The opening of the meeting, which was held in a hybrid format, was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov, national coordinators of the organization's member states, as well as heads of permanent SCO bodies.

    During the meeting, special attention was paid to the preparation of the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO member States, which will be held on September 15-16, 2022 in the city of Samarkand

    An exchange of views took place on the schedule of the main events of Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the SCO, as well as draft documents developed by the Uzbek side, the Dune news agency reports.

    Recall that Uzbekistan has been a chairman state in the SCO since September 2021. The previous meeting of the SCO SNC was held on January 26-28 in Tashkent.
