The Flower Festival annually encompasses a very impressive circle of participants and guests who flock from different parts of the world to witness a colorful celebration. Guests from South Korea, Russia, Turkey, the Netherlands and neighboring countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are invited to participate in the festival.
As a result, not only local media are involved in the process of covering the festival, but also representatives of foreign media, including from Russia, China, Turkey, Iran, India and Central Asian countries, inform Ministry OF Tourism and Sports the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The festival is expected to contribute to the development of tourism in the region, increase the attractiveness of the Namangan region and build sustainable relationships with both local and foreign tourists. This is a great opportunity for Namangan region to show its tourism potential to the whole world.
One of the most original moments during the festival will be a flower parade that will follow the central streets of the city. More than 150 vehicles, agricultural and special equipment will take part in the parade. All vehicles will be decorated with bright and colorful flowers intertwined with the flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The route will follow to the central recreation park. Babur, where the official opening ceremony of the festival starts.
Since 1961, the flower festival has been a grand event for each of us, during this time it was able to reflect all the richness of the available plants and therefore, most likely, the event is more nostalgic for the city residents.
