Cultural
and educational events, concert programs, exhibitions, conferences, seminars
and meetings in the field of tourism are organized within the framework of the
50-day festival.
Large-scale
landscaping and landscaping works were carried out in the city and region for
the festival. The streets, alleys, parks and main venues of the event were
decorated with more than 150 million flower seedlings, which once again
emphasized Namangan's status as a "city of flowers".
The
festival program includes more than 150 events, including concerts, folklore
performances, craft exhibitions, cultural programs, as well as scientific and
practical conferences and tourist presentations.
One of the
main events was the setting of a record in the Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur Park
of Culture and Recreation. About 30 million flower seedlings were planted here
in one month by one team. Thanks to this, Namangan was included in the Guinness
Book of Records in the nomination "The largest number of flowers planted
by one team in one month."
It is
expected that about 1 million foreign and up to 7 million local tourists will visit
the festival.
The
International Flower Festival is considered as an important platform for
promoting the tourism potential of Namangan region, its cultural heritage,
national traditions and hospitality at the international level.
