During the conversation held after the brief ceremony, the state and prospects of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea, which received a special impetus as a result of the high-level talks held in Tashkent in June this year, as well as issues related to the schedule of future joint events, were discussed, the Dunyo news agency reports.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Head of the Protocol Service wished the Ambassador of Uzbekistan great success in the consistent development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Recall that the new ambassador of Uzbekistan, Alisher Abdusalomov, arrived in Seoul on August 29. He previously headed the Secretariat of the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.

Alisher Abdusalomov replaced Vitaly Feng, who headed the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul with a short break in 1995-2024.
