Senators
and deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis will be part of
Uzbekistan's influential delegation.
The main
theme of the session is planned to be strengthening good governance and
empowering communities through inclusiveness, trust, and equal opportunities.
Additionally, within the framework of this session, a new president of the
Inter-Parliamentary Union will be elected for a three-year term.
As a
reminder, in April 2026, a delegation led by Tanzila Narbaeva, Chairperson of
the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, participated in the 152nd session of the
Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly held in the city of Istanbul.
