The Kuwaiti side at the meeting was also represented by the Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Noura Suleiman Al-Fassam, Minister of Trade and Industry Khalifa Abdullah Al-Askar, and the Managing Director of the Investment Authority Sheikh Saoud Al-Sabah.
The parties discussed the practical implementation of the agreements reached during today’s high-level negotiations.
Deep satisfaction was expressed with the fruitful results of the meeting between the leaders of the two states, which elevated relations between Uzbekistan and Kuwait to the level of a comprehensive partnership.
The importance of joint preparations for the upcoming visit of the Amir of Kuwait to Uzbekistan, where he will participate in the “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council” summit, was highlighted.
Developing trade, economic, and investment ties was identified as a priority task.
In this context, establishing a Joint Investment Platform and a Business Council was emphasized, along with supporting and promoting projects in agriculture, logistics and transportation, hydropower, infrastructure, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and others.
An agreement was reached to organize active contacts and mutual visits to advance cooperation programs and projects included in the roadmap.
