In accordance with the visit program in Tokyo, meetings and negotiations are scheduled with Emperor of Japan Naruhito, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, the leadership of the Parliament, members of the government, representatives of political parties, and rectors of leading Japanese universities.
The agenda includes further expanding and deepening the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan.
The business program includes meetings and events with senior executives from major Japanese companies and financial institutions. The expansion of trade and economic cooperation, as well as the promotion of investment projects, will be discussed in detail. A substantial package of bilateral documents is expected to be adopted.
The President of Uzbekistan will also participate in the first summit of the Heads of State of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue, which will address prospects for developing cooperation in priority areas such as the green economy and sustainable development, strengthening connectivity and regional partnership, and human resource development.
Following the summit, the Tokyo Declaration is scheduled for adoption.
