During the control measures, the operations of facilities that seriously violate the established requirements may be temporarily suspended until the deficiencies are repaired.
According to current legislation, the obligation to ensure fire safety in buildings and structures is placed directly on the heads of the establishments.
Therefore, the ministry requires officials to keep evacuation routes ready, maintain constant control over the functionality of fire alarms and technical protection equipment, and adequately equip buildings with fire extinguishing tools.
Additionally, the obligation to comply with safety rules must be clearly stated in contracts when leasing buildings.
These strict measures are being implemented to prevent unpleasant incidents such as the fire that occurred at the "Aviator" shopping center in Tashkent. Currently, working groups have been formed across the republic, and inspections are being conducted on-site.
It was reminded that administrative and criminal liability will be established for responsible individuals who grossly violate requirements and show negligence toward safety.
