According to the Agency for Strategic Reforms, the proposal to involve the private sector in the pension system does not imply the abolition of the state Pension fund.

This is just one of the recommendations made by international experts during the discussion of possible directions for reforming the pension system.

At the moment, all proposals are being studied by the Agency for Strategic Reforms and other responsible structures.

"It is also important to note that when developing any changes to the pension system, a broad analysis of international experience will be carried out, and the opinions and interests of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be necessarily taken into account. All proposals will be aimed solely at improving the social protection of the population," the message says.
