On February 26, 2024, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloyev held a meeting with the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar Hassan Hamza Hashim, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Yusuf al-Utaibi, the Sultanate of Oman Wafa Jabr Nasser al-Busaidi, as well as the Charge d'affaires of the United Arab Emirates Muhammad al-Dahiri.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on topical aspects of the common agenda, paying special attention to further strengthening interregional cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.

An exchange of views took place on preparations for upcoming joint events, in particular in the format of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf - Central Asia, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
