On October 15, Uzbek students studying at the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) in Israel flew to Tashkent.

According to the Embassy, an agreement has been reached with the Institute to continue the studies of our students in an online format. They study in such popular areas as mathematics, high technology, artificial intelligence. In the future, the university plans to introduce new directions for the training of future Uzbek specialists, the Dune news agency reports.

The Embassy expresses its gratitude to HIT, Mirzo Ulugbek National University, Bukhara and Samarkand State Universities, as well as the representative office of Uzbekistan Airways JSC in Tel Aviv for assistance in sending students to Uzbekistan.

We express our special gratitude to the rector of HIT, Mr. Eduard Yakubov, with whose active support it was possible to promptly resolve all issues related to the organization of the export of Uzbek students to their homeland.

It should be recalled that HIT is the first Israeli university where students from Uzbekistan study. On the basis of memoranda of understanding, HIT successfully cooperates with Mirzo Ulugbek National University, Bukhara and Samarkand State Universities.

On October 12, the new Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Jakhongir Aminov, met with the leadership of the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) and Uzbek students studying here.
