The Head of state got acquainted with samples of manufactured products, the production process, and the results of the company’s scientific cooperation with foreign countries.
Founded in 1984, the company is Türkiye’s leading technology center for the design, development, modernization, production, and integration of aerospace systems, from fixed and rotary-wing air platforms to unmanned aerial vehicles and satellites.
In 2023, Turkish Aerospace Industries entered the list of the 100 largest defense companies in the world. Annual revenue is approximately $1.5 billion.
The company employs over 15,000 people, including about 7,000 engineers and over 6,500 technicians.
During the visit, the President of Uzbekistan was also introduced to the activities of several other Turkish defense industry enterprises, specializing in developing and producing a wide range of weapons and military equipment.
Aviation demonstration flights took place.
