"In 2024, the volume of global exports / imports of conventional weapons (according to the classification of the UN Register) amounted, according to the Center for Analysis of the World Arms Trade (CAWAT), to 111.615 billion dollars, which is the highest result since the end of the Cold War era," the report says.
For comparison, in 2021, the volume of global exports of arms and military equipment amounted to 82.942 billion dollars, in 2022 - 106.185 billion dollars, in 2023 - 96.889 billion dollars.
