This enterprise, located in the Urgut Free Economic Zone, is a modern production complex established thanks to the favorable conditions created in recent years for entrepreneurs and the country’s reliable investment climate.
Having started its activity by assembling several types of household appliances from imported components, the company has now become one of the largest enterprises in Central Asia, maintaining strong positions in the production of refrigerators, gas stoves, mini-ovens, vacuum cleaners, exhaust hoods, and other household products, as well as modern metal doors.
The products manufactured here under the “Made in Uzbekistan” label are exported to Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan under the brands Dorsa, Kleo, and Ferre. The Ferre brand has also secured a strong position in the highly competitive domestic market. Currently, the enterprise’s annual production capacity averages 250,000 units, valued at about 440 billion UZS, and this figure continues to grow each year.
The production process uses materials and components from leading global companies, including Embraco, LG, DOW, and Midea. As of today, the localization level of the enterprise’s products stands at nearly 85 percent.
The total cost of the project amounted to thirty million U.S. dollars, supported by foreign investment and preferential bank loans. Around one thousand jobs have been created. The manufacturing equipment includes cutting-edge technologies from Germany, Türkiye, Italy, and China.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the production process and spoke with the company’s management and specialists, emphasizing the need to expand the range of products that meet international standards and to strengthen their position in foreign markets. It was noted that it is essential to make effective use of the opportunities and benefits provided by the state.
It was also highlighted that entrepreneurs who create their own brands and promote domestically produced goods on the global market will receive continuous support. They create added value and provide stable income for thousands of people.
“Without supporting entrepreneurs, it is impossible to build a New Uzbekistan. If you continue to develop tirelessly, there will be no one living in poverty in Samarkand. By showing initiative, you have the opportunity to present Uzbekistan on the world stage”, the President said.
The Head of State emphasized the importance of creating added value and opening new jobs by increasing the number of such manufacturing enterprises in the Urgut Free Economic Zone and gave corresponding instructions to responsible officials.
