During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of transport, including attracting investments in infrastructure projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The prospects of relations in the field of civil aviation, including the organization of transportation of pilgrims to the cities of Mecca and Medina, were highly appreciated.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue practical steps to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of transport and logistics, increase the volume of passenger and freight traffic between the two countries.

Also, the aviation authorities of the two countries signed a bilateral protocol aimed at creating favorable conditions in the field of civil aviation, the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
