In particular, periodic precipitation (rain turning into snow) will be observed on February 16 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, as well as on February 17-19 in a significant part of the territory of Uzbekistan.
On February 17-18, heavy precipitation will take place in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya regions and in some places of the Ferghana Valley.
On February 16-18, in some regions of the republic, the wind speed may increase to 17-22 m/s, in some places up to 25-28 m/s.
By February 18-19, the air temperature in Uzbekistan will drop to 3-8 degrees below zero at night, and to 0-3 degrees below zero during the day. In the north, on February 17-19, the temperature is expected to drop at night to 13-16 degrees below zero, in the afternoon to 5-8 degrees below zero.
