Issues of development of inter-regional dialogue with Uzbekistan were discussed with the leadership of the Komi Republic

    Representatives of the Embassy of our country in Moscow and the Consulate General in St. Petersburg visited the Komi Republic (Russian Federation). During the visit, negotiations were held with the leadership of the region on the further development of interregional dialogue in trade, economic, investment, migration, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

    Presentations of the economic potential of our country were also held, negotiations with representatives of large businesses, meetings with representatives of the diaspora and compatriots were organized, visits to large industrial facilities took place, the Dunyo news agency reports.

    During the visit, issues of intensifying cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed with the head of the Komi Republic Vladimir Uyba. Following the talks, an agreement was reached on the organization of a visit by the business mission of the region to Uzbekistan to explore new opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

    The diplomats also visited Syktyvkar State University, where a dialogue took place with Uzbek students studying at this university and Ukhta State Technical University.

    During the events, the members of the delegation got acquainted with the working and study conditions of our citizens. The policy of the Uzbek leadership in the field of youth and labor migration, as well as other reforms, were discussed with compatriots.
