"The commander of the Boeing 787 aircraft decided to land at an alternate airfield en route. A problem on board was reported by radio. On the ground, the passenger, a citizen of Uzbekistan born in 1991, was removed from the flight by police officers," Uzbekistan Airways said in a statement.
After completing the necessary procedures, the aircraft will continue its flight to the destination airport.
The estimated time of arrival of the aircraft in Tashkent is 13.00 Tashkent time, the airline's press service clarifies.
