    Uzbekistan Airways has started operating regular flights since October 2 of this year, bypassing the airspace of Iraq and the western part of Iran. This was reported by the press service of the airline.

    "In order to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights, starting from October 2, 2024, according to the instructions of the Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Airways reports on the performance of regular flights, taking into account the overflight of the airspace of Iraq and the western part of the airspace of Iran until further notice," the message says.

    It is important to note that Uzbekistan Airways will continue to operate regular flights on the Tashkent - Tel Aviv - Samarkand/Tashkent route, using alternative routes to ensure maximum flight safety.
