to the Republican Center for Seismic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency
Situations, the coordinates of the epicenter were 40.27 degrees north latitude
and 63.1 degrees east longitude. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.3, the
depth of the hearth was 10 kilometers.
The
distance from the epicenter to Tashkent was 527 kilometers in a southwesterly
direction.
The force
of the tremors on the territory of the republic was felt as follows:
in the
Bukhara region - 3-4 points, the distance to the epicenter is 127 km.;
in Navoi
region - 2-3 points, the distance to the epicenter is 194 km.
