On the Comex exchange, the price of gold futures for delivery in February 2026 exceeded $5,000 per troy ounce for the first time. At the time of publication, the cost of one troy ounce is $5,067.9.
The price of silver futures also updated the maximum, exceeding $105 per troy ounce for the first time.
The Central Bank has been selling gold bars since 2020. Since January of this year, the regulator began publishing gold bullion repurchase prices for the first time.
The prices for the sale and repurchase of gold bars are published daily on the official website of the Central Bank in national currency.
