Press secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Akhror Burkhanov provided a statement regarding these reports.
It was noted that on January 11 of this year, three citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan were on the boat that crashed.
As a result of the incident, two of them sustained minor injuries and were hospitalized in a local hospital. The injured citizens have fully recovered and have been discharged from the hospital in the established manner.
Additionally, all medical and other necessary expenses of the victims were fully covered by the insurance funds of the company that owns the boat.
Regarding the incident, the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Bangkok has remained in constant contact with local law enforcement agencies and healthcare institutions.
