As of 8:00 a.m. on January 11, the amount of RM2.5 particles in the air of Tashkent did not change much compared to the previous day and amounted to 85.5 μg/m3, Uzgidromet reported. This is 17 times higher than the World Health Organization recommendation (5 μg/m3) (it was 19.4 times higher as of 20:00).

The capital of Uzbekistan was in 12th place in the rating of IQAir service at the time of the announcement (it was 8th place in the evening). The service recommends refraining from outdoor activities, wearing a medical mask, not opening windows and using an air purifier if available.

The amount of RM10 particles (191.4 μg/m3, the permissible concentration according to SanPiN — 500 μg/m3) and carbon monoxide (0.8 mg/m3, the maximum permissible concentration — 5 mg/m3) is normal.
