US President Donald Trump has announced that a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan will be signed at the White House on August 8. He posted the corresponding publication on August 7 in Truth Social, reports tass.ru.

According to Trump, a "peace summit" will be held at the White House on August 8 with the participation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. "My administration has been interacting with both sides for some time. Tomorrow, President Aliyev and Prime Minister Pashinyan will join me at the White House for the official signing ceremony of the peace agreement," the American leader wrote, adding that the United States will also sign bilateral agreements with both sides in the economic sphere.
