US President Donald Trump is being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. This was announced by Congressman Darrell Issa, according to The Hill.

In a subsequent statement, Issa's deputy chief of staff and communications director Jonathan Wilcox pointed to Trump's peace efforts in the Middle East.
"Congressman Issa recently led a Congressional delegation to four countries in the Middle East - he personally and from several heads of state observed that the spirit of peace and moving away from conflict are real and multilateral," Wilcox said.
