A UAE-based travel company plans to open a regional office for Central Asia in Tashkent

    Uzbek Ambassador Abdulaziz Akkulov held talks with the CEO of Walks of Dubai, Muhammad Abdulmawla Musa Hamad.

    During the meeting, issues of promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, organizing mutual visits and internship programs for students studying in this specialty were discussed, Dune news agency reports.

    The Emirati side highly appreciated the rich cultural, historical and natural tourism potential of Uzbekistan. In this regard, a desire was expressed to participate with a special pavilion in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair "Tourism on the Silk Road", which will be held on November 27-29 this year.

    "We are also planning to open a regional office of our company for Central Asia in Tashkent. We are ready to establish contacts with major travel companies of Uzbekistan during the trip to begin practical steps. In addition, we can organize 15-day internships in Dubai for students studying tourism in Uzbekistan," said Muhammad Abdulmawla Musa Hamad.

    The parties also agreed to jointly organize promotional events aimed at increasing the flow of tourists from the UAE to Uzbekistan, and jointly develop educational and practical training programs.
