Uzbekistan - Russia: partnership in the field of aviation safety is developing

    The Russian airline Azimut (part of Rostec) is implementing projects to equip airfields in Uzbekistan with equipment that allows for a reliable level of flight safety. This was reported by the press service of the Russian trade mission in Uzbekistan.

    According to her, Konstantin Zlygostev, the trade representative of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan, met with Asker Saidov, CEO of Azimut JSC.

    At the meeting, the head of the Russian company spoke about ongoing projects to equip airfields in Uzbekistan with ground-based radio equipment, which allows for a reliable level of safety of air traffic in the republic.

    In turn, Konstantin Zlygostev noted that, taking into account the prospects for further modernization of the airport infrastructure, Azimut JSC has every chance to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with partners from Uzbekistan.
