Recall that in February of this year, a delegation of entrepreneurs belonging to the Uzcharmsanoat Association made a business mission to the Turkish city of Bursa. During the visit, the business people of our country agreed to implement a number of projects and programs in the leather and shoe industry with Turkish entrepreneurs. These include the production of shoes under Turkish brands, the implementation of joint investment projects.
Dr. Ali Baklan said that after the visit of the Uzbek delegation to Turkey, the interest of Turkish companies in investing in our country and implementing new joint projects in cooperation has increased. In particular, a delegation of leather industry enterprises from Bursa is expected to visit Uzbekistan in April 2024.
During the visit, the businessmen of the two countries will hold negotiations on the purchase of recycled leather, gelatin, as well as the implementation of projects aimed at the production of shoes under the brand of Turkish brands.
