We are waiting for the arrival of the third board and in parallel we receive the operator's certificate. In April, we plan to open air ticket sales for the first flights. And now, at the stage of forming the schedule, it is important for us to understand how we, as a regional air carrier, can help you in the development of tourism. Which destinations are the most in demand, where there is an acute lack of communication today," said the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airports Rano Jurayeva.
The event was attended by about 25 travel agencies, whose representatives gave their suggestions on routes.
To date, the most popular destinations among tour operators are "Tashkent - Samarkand", "Samarkand - Termez", "Samarkand - Urgench" and "Samarkand - Fergana", as well as "Bukhara - Urgench" and "Bukhara - Fergana". In addition, representatives of travel agencies asked to pay attention to the time of departures and arrivals when forming the schedule - too early or too late flights are very inconvenient for tourists. The optimal departure time is 8:00 or 8:30 in the morning. It is also important to integrate the domestic flight schedule with the international flight schedule to ensure convenient connections.
Representatives of the airport and the airline, in turn, agreed with many of the arguments of tour operators and promised to take into account when approving the route map and flight schedules.
