During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects aimed at improving the vocational education system and identified priority areas for further cooperation. Special attention was paid to the project "Improvement of the vocational education system".
As part of this project, it is planned to create eight exemplary vocational training institutions - Centers of advanced professional training in the regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main objectives of the project are to strengthen the material and technical base of educational institutions, introduce German experience into the educational process and strengthen cooperation with employers.
The parties also discussed the concept of the project "Support for vocational education (stage 3)". In the process of implementing these initiatives, the Ministry's specialists will work closely with the KfW Development Bank and the project consultants. Special attention is paid to ensuring that the qualifications of the trained specialists meet international standards and are recognized in foreign labor markets.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to step up the implementation of existing cooperation projects and put forward new joint initiatives in promising areas.
