Uzbekistan and Germany discussed the import of agricultural products

    On July 19, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the head of the German company Mangold Consulting, Professor Dr. Klaus Mangold.

    At the event, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Kakhramon Yuldashev, the issues of the relevance of agrarian and food security and the need to develop relations between the countries in these areas were discussed.

    It was also stressed during the event that there is a high demand for high-quality fruits and vegetables all over the world. In particular, melons, watermelons, tomatoes, apricots, mangoes and avocados imported by Landgard AG are in demand.

    The Uzbek side provided information about Uzbekistan's agricultural achievements and plans for the future. The guests were invited to participate in the exhibition "Green Week-2023", which will be held in January next year.

    At the end of the dialogue, the parties discussed in detail plans for the future and agreed to expand versatile cooperation.
