Uzbekistan and Jordan have agreed to promote mutual tourist routes

    Within the framework of the 26th session of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization, held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), the Chairman of the Committee on Tourism Umid Shadiyev met with the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Emad Al-Hejazin.

    During the negotiations, a program of cooperation in the field of tourism for 2026-2027 was signed, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and developing tourism exchange between Uzbekistan and Jordan.

    The document provides for the implementation of joint initiatives in the field of cultural, pilgrimage and medical tourism, the exchange of experience in the field of marketing and digitalization of the industry, as well as the promotion of mutual tourist routes.

    During the meeting, the parties also agreed on mechanisms for the practical implementation of each item of the program and expressed their readiness for active cooperation on bilateral and international platforms.
