During the conversation, the current state of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran, prospects for its expansion, as well as issues of intensifying the dialogue between representatives of the business circles of the two countries were discussed, the Dunyo news agency reports.

Samad Hasanzadeh noted that the joint Iranian-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce is successfully operating within the framework of ICCIMA. As the Chairman of ICCIMA stressed, the Chamber is responsible for coordinating trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and developing relations between representatives of the business communities.

He also informed that the department headed by him is ready to assist in attracting leading Iranian companies in the field of mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, construction, textiles, energy, and medical equipment production to Uzbekistan.
