The parties discussed the implementation of projects aimed at the development of "green" energy in Uzbekistan.
CRRC ZELC presented its technologies in the field of wind energy, solar energy and energy storage systems, and also expressed its willingness to contribute to the training and development of industry in Uzbekistan. Projects on the use of hydrogen and energy storage systems aimed at the efficient use of local resources were also presented.
As part of the cooperation, the construction of wind farms and a plant for the production of energy storage equipment were discussed. The localization of foreign technologies according to the model "Chinese technologies + Uzbek production + Regional market" was considered. Issues related to the development of scientific research, modernization of infrastructure and the introduction of electric heating systems instead of natural gas were also raised.
In addition, it was proposed at the meeting to create joint laboratories for "green" energy. The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has also launched an initiative to implement a pilot project in one of the technoparks under its jurisdiction.
