During the meeting, Mutaz Yasin was familiarized with detailed information about the large-scale changes being implemented in our country, the benefits provided for the export of Uzbek products, and favorable conditions created for foreign importers, the Dune news agency reports.
According to Mutaz Yasin, AlMawashi was established in 1973 in Kuwait with 70% of the state's share and 30% of the private sector. The company has more than 20 million square meters of farmland and about 35 retail stores. AlMawashi brings 55,000 head of cattle and sheep from Australia and South Africa every month on two of its own large ships.
Following the meeting, it was decided to organize online negotiations between representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and AlMawashi company to discuss in practical terms the issues of importing products of interest to the Kuwaiti side from Uzbekistan.
In addition, Mutaz Yasin plans to visit Uzbekistan in the near future for negotiations with representatives of farms in our country, as well as to bring Uzbek honey products.
