During the
conversation, the current state and prospects of special strategic partnership
relations between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea were discussed, and
views were exchanged on digital transformation, the introduction of artificial
intelligence technologies, the improvement of the e-government system and the
development of legislation in this area.
Special
attention is paid to bilateral cooperation on the prevention and rapid response
to natural disasters and emergencies caused by climate change. The
possibilities of introducing digital technologies at the regional and mahalla
levels aimed at preventing emergencies, evacuating the population and ensuring
security based on the Korean experience were discussed. At the same time, the
importance of deputies of local Councils in the effective implementation of
practical projects on the ground was noted.
During the
conversation, the important role of the Korean diaspora in our country in
strengthening friendship and cultural and humanitarian ties between the two
peoples was emphasized. It was also noted that in 2027, the 90th anniversary of
the Korean diaspora's residence in Uzbekistan will be widely celebrated.
At the end
of the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to support mutually
beneficial initiatives and projects, as well as consistently continue practical
partnership by further expanding inter-parliamentary and interregional
cooperation.
