Uzbekistan and Russia discussed the development of energy cooperation

    As part of the international forum "Russian Energy Week 2025", held in Moscow and one of the largest and most authoritative global platforms for discussing trends in the development of the energy industry, Uzbek Energy Minister Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov met with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak.

    The event is also attended by heads of state, government representatives, leading experts and major energy companies.

    The parties discussed the development of bilateral relations in the oil and gas and electric power sectors, the implementation of investment projects and ongoing work in these areas.

    Earlier, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vladimir Putin, paid special attention to the issues of further strengthening strategic partnership and interaction between the countries.

    Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the timely implementation of the tasks set by the heads of the two states.
