The
delegation of Uzbekistan was headed by Tamila Aliyeva, Deputy Head of the
Presidential Administration for Healthcare Reform, and Eldor Adilov, Minister
of Health.
During the
visit, negotiations were held with Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the
Government of the Russian Federation, Alexey Overchuk and Dmitry Grigorenko,
Deputy Chairmen of the Government of the Russian Federation, and a meeting with
Alexey Gromov, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration.
The parties
discussed promising areas of cooperation in the field of healthcare, the
introduction of digital technologies in medicine, the development of
telemedicine and advanced training of Uzbek specialists in leading Russian
medical, scientific and educational institutions.
The
Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation held a meeting with Minister
Mikhail Murashko with the participation of heads and specialized experts from
medical, scientific and educational organizations of the two countries.
During the
expert session, issues of improving the medical care system, digitalization of
healthcare, remote patient monitoring, development of telemedicine technologies
and training of highly qualified medical personnel were considered.
Special
attention is paid to cooperation in such areas as oncology, radiology, nuclear
medicine, hematology, emergency medical care, rehabilitation and palliative care.
The
delegation of Uzbekistan also got acquainted with the activities of the Federal
Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine,
the Central Clinical Hospital with a polyclinic of the Office of the President
of the Russian Federation and the Barvikha Clinical Sanatorium.
The Russian
side presented the experience of organizing the work of leading federal
specialized medical centers, including the A.F. Tsyba Medical Radiological
Research Center, the N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology,
the National Medical Research Center of Hematology and the Dmitry Rogachev
National Medical Research Center for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and
Immunology.
In
addition, the Uzbek delegation held working meetings with Veronika Skvortsova,
Head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, and Anna Popova,
Head of Rospotrebnadzor, Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation.
During the
meeting with Veronika Skvortsova, issues related to the development of blood
services, transplantation, biosafety, training specialists in the field of
biomolecular and bioengineering technologies, as well as digital support for
donor activities were discussed.
At the
meeting with Anna Popova, the Russian side presented the experience of
organizing sanitary and epidemiological surveillance, molecular and hygienic
diagnostics, genomic epidemiological analysis, prevention of infectious
diseases and rapid response to threats to public health.
The
delegation of Uzbekistan also got acquainted with the work of specialized
scientific and laboratory units of Rospotrebnadzor, modern methods of assessing
sanitary and epidemiological risks, quality control of water, air and food
products.
Following
the visit, the Uzbek side expressed gratitude to the Government of the Russian
Federation for the high level of organization of meetings, warm welcome and
meaningful dialogue, noting that the agreements reached would further
strengthen and develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of
healthcare.
