The Kentucky Consular Center announced the winners of the DV-2025 program. The lottery was conducted in accordance with the provisions of section 203 (c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
This will allow up to 55,000 permanent residence visas to be issued annually to citizens of countries with low levels of immigration to the United States.
About 131,000 applicants have been selected and notified that they can apply for an immigration visa.
Uzbekistan became the leader of the list. This year, 5,564 Uzbek citizens have won a Green card. This is followed by Algeria (5,526), Russia (5,519), Egypt (5,515) and Sudan (5,505).
