According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the humanitarian cargo with a total weight of about 390 tons was formed at the Termez Cargo Center site and includes food, medicines and medical equipment.
During the inspection of the cargo, the Governor of Balkh province, Muhammad Yusuf Wafo, expressed deep gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for his continued support and care for the people of Afghanistan. According to him, this assistance is a clear confirmation of the fraternal and friendly attitude of the Uzbek leadership towards the Afghan people.
It is noted that this humanitarian action was the fourth in a row in 2025.
The Governor also stressed the importance of Uzbekistan's practical steps aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and developing trade and economic cooperation. Thanks to these efforts, in recent years, it has been possible to significantly increase the volume of exports of Afghan products, as well as improve the socio-economic situation and well-being of the Afghan population.
