It was
noted that the main purpose of the Agreement is to promote the expansion of
trade, economic and investment ties between the participating states through
investment activities.
Membership
in the New Development Bank expands our country's opportunities to attract
foreign investment, finance major infrastructure and sustainable development
projects.
The Bank
uses modern financial instruments such as loans, guarantees and investments to
support public and private sector projects.
According
to the senators, the adoption of the Law serves to expand cooperation between
the Republic of Uzbekistan and international financial institutions, attract
investment and modernize economic sectors, as well as ensure sustainable
economic growth and infrastructure development in the country.
The law was
approved by the senators.
