During a check at the Vodil-avto border customs post, a Damas car was stopped, driven by a resident of the Fergana region, born in 1996, who was on his way to Kyrgyzstan.
During the inspection of the vehicle, 4 gold bars of non-standard shape were found in the back of the car, hidden in a cache. According to the expert opinion, their net weight was 1 kg 232 g, and the total cost was 2 billion 182 million 466 thousand soums.
On this fact, the investigative department of the State Security Service of the Fergana region opened a criminal case under Article 182 of the Criminal Code (violation of customs legislation). Investigative actions are underway.
