The Art Station Gallery in Samarkand hosts an international exhibition of artists from the Turkic world

    As part of the international conference on Archaeology, restoration, Museology and library technologies in Samarkand, the Art Station Gallery at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage presented the exhibition "Dance of Colors: Traces of the Silk Road from our Roots to Samarkand", curated by artist Nur Dogu Kochak.

    The exhibition, organized jointly by the TURKTAV Foundation and the Heritage Turquoise organization, was attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Samarkand, Dr. Salih Zhaner, Vice-rector of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Dilmurod Nasimov, as well as guests from countries such as Italy, Estonia, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, artists and academics from the Turkic world.

    This exhibition is aimed at expressing in the language of art the interrelationship of cultures, national art and historical heritage formed along the Silk Road, which harmoniously combines the unique colors, patterns and traditions of fine art of different peoples.

    The exhibition aroused among the guests not only aesthetic pleasure, but also a deep interest in the cultural community and historical roots.

    At the end of the event, the works presented at the exhibition will be donated to the Art Station Gallery and included in the permanent collection.
