The delegation of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna) visited the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.

The members of the delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Institute for the first time. During the visit, the grand opening of the cloud computing cluster, a major project created in cooperation between the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, took place.

This cluster is being implemented at the Institute of Nuclear Physics for the first time in our country. The cluster allows you to combine high-performance servers into a single cloud infrastructure to increase efficiency and increase computing speed when using large amounts of computing. As a result, complex calculations are performed faster and provide highly accurate calculation results for scientific research.

Accordingly, with the help of this cluster, you can quickly and reliably download and send very large amounts of data, as well as perform calculations that require a large information resource.
